We saw the preview for Big Miracle a few weeks ago and the kids have been asking to see it ever since. I thought it looked pretty good too (I am impatient and looked up the real story online so I knew the outcome already…I know, I’m terrible) so we packed up the kids and headed off to the movies.
Griffin was probably the most vocal about wanting to see the movie, but it wasn’t the right movie for him. He usually does well in the theatre, but this just didn’t keep him entertained for two hours and he made it difficult for the rest of us to watch. He’s only four, so don’t take your four year olds to this movie. My 7 and 9 year olds enjoyed it though, and I really enjoyed it. It’s a great story about people coming together despite their differences to try and save the trapped whales. It’s based on a true story, and from everything I read, it’s fairly close to the actual facts.
